Abstract

The best employee selection system is still conducted manually and has not yet utilized technology, resulting in evaluations that are sometimes inconsistent and thus less objective. The purpose of this research is to design and implement a decision support system to determine the best employees at PT Almaha Public Service, using the SAW method. Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) is one of the methods used in the decision-making process. The basic concept of the SAW method is to find the weighted sum of performance ratings for each alternative across all attributes, with 5 criteria weights as follows: loyalty, attendance, discipline, behavior, and performance. Therefore, this method is suitable for making decisions. The system used can assist in selecting the best employees and making objective decisions. With the application of this method, it can be concluded that the calculations using the SAW method can provide accurate and effective assessments as a replacement for the previous system. With this application, it can help company area leaders evaluate their tasks. This can save time in work processes and produce accurate decisions, thereby reducing the likelihood of errors.
