The cultural richness of Indonesia is reflected in its diverse ethnic groups, languages, and traditions, including the Wambon Tribe of Boven Digoel, South Papua. In recent years, cultural awareness and engagement among younger generations have shown a significant decline, leading to concerns about cultural preservation. This study aims to develop an Android-based mobile application designed to introduce and preserve the cultural heritage of the Wambon Tribe. The Prototype method was employed to support iterative development, enabling refinements based on user feedback. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and literature review. The application integrates various cultural elements including vocabulary, history, traditional clothing, accessories, traditional houses, and traditional songs. The system was implemented using MIT App Inventor 2 and evaluated through black-box testing to assess the functionality and performance of all features. The results indicate that the application functions effectively and provides an engaging, accessible medium for cultural learning. This study demonstrates the potential of mobile technology to enhance cultural preservation, especially among younger communities.
