PENGGUNAAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INGGRIS DI TAMAN BACA TANGERANG

Abstract

 

The objectives of this study were (1) to find out teacher planning by using audio visual media in
English vocabulary learning at the FAKT-na Tangerang Community Reading Park, (2) to find out teacher
skills by using audio visual media in English vocabulary learning in the Park Read the FAKT-na
Tangerang Society, (3) to find out the barriers to using audio visual media in English vocabulary
learning, and (4) to describe students' learning outcomes by using audio visual media in English
vocabulary learning at the FAKT -na Reading Park Tangerang. This research was conducted using a
qualitative approach and descriptive method. The data collected in this study is based on interviews, field
observations and documents, in the form of drawings and notes on the Reading Gardens profile.
Respondents from this study were students of the FAKT-na Tangerang Reading Park. The results of this
study indicate that in planning, the teachers pay attention to the competency standards contained in the
Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) so that the direction and goals of learning can be achieved
optimally and also consider the availability of facilities and infrastructure. Problems in the form of
technical and non-technical constraints are generally not a problem and can be overcome by teacher
creativity to maximize existing infrastructure. Learning of students after using audio visual media has
increased, meaning that the use of audio-visual media in the absorption of students increases.
Implementation of the learning process of teaching English at the Community Reading Park in
Tangerang using audio visual media that is very interactive and enthusiastic, students are more motivated
to continue learning.
