PERANCANGAN APLIKASI TRACKING BARANG BERBASIS ANDROID MENGGUNAKAN GOOGLE MAP API PADA PT. SUKMA JAYA ABADI

Abstract

At PT. Sukma Jaya Abadi (Land Transportation Expedition) there is no system based on technology or
computerized to support their business processes, such as to track or monitor the delivery of goods that are being
carried out. Therefore, in this study will design and build an android-based goods delivery tracking information
system. The method used for the collection of data necessary to compile this report is obtained by conducting
observations and interviews directly on the side of PT. Sukma Jaya Abadi (Land Transport Expedition). The
method used to track or monitor the delivery of goods by utilizing the Google Maps API service to be able to display
digital maps. As for designing the system using UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling and for system
development using waterfall method. The result obtained from the conduct of a research or development is an
application of android-based goods delivery tracking system to track or monitor the delivery of goods by looking at
the maps contained in the application, and this application can facilitate or speed up the process of delivery and
receipt of goods delivery results that have been successfully carried out in a timely way.
