Abstract

The need for the importance of Information and Communication Technology is felt by PT. Royal Panca Persada Anugerah in conducting a purchase order system. In processing purchase order data, PT Royal Panca Persada Anugerah still relies on Microsoft Excel as the main software, starting from making requests for goods, making purchase orders, recording receipts of goods, and making reports. In addition to being prone to human error, processing purchase orders using spreadsheets will take a long time considering that there is not a small amount of data. The information obtained from the data is also limited because it is done using simple tools. To support the smoothness of the raw material inventory system, it is necessary to create an information system that can provide convenience to the purchase order process so that accurate information is generated in a timely manner and data processing can run more effectively. This research is designed with a website-based information system and uses the Waterfall method, created using PHP and MySQL for the database and Unified Modeling Language (UML) as a tool in modeling the system. The purchase order information system is expected to provide convenience in data processing in the purchasing department at PT Royal Panca Persada Anugerah which includes the input process, transactions, receipt of goods and printed reports.
